Linda, the owner, was warm and attentive, and she serves a simple, delicious breakfast with a lot of care. At check-in she tells you the next morning’s menu, asks what you’d like, and sets a time for you. The homemade cookies and kids’ playroom were lovely touches, and Santa Village is only about three minutes away. My family felt at home in this clean place. They could pay a little more attention to the small details, but nothing major. I really liked that they’ve kept the old-fashioned style so well, and I’ll definitely return.

We had a great weekend here with our toddler. Linda was a lovely, kind host, and the room was clean with fresh towels ready. The homemade breakfast was free each morning, delicious, fresh, and filling. We’ll definitely come back.

My seven-year-old and I stayed here, and we still talk about wanting to return. The owner made us feel truly cared for, especially at breakfast. When we arrived late on the first night, cookies, coffee, and tea were waiting for us. We loved relaxing in the open living area with holiday movies while my child played with the toys in the kids’ area. It felt like being in a special Hallmark movie. Santa’s Village is right nearby, and we were lucky to find Fenn's Way Restaurant at Waumbek Golf Club, a beautiful restaurant open to the public. Everything about the stay felt magical and special. Thank you, Jefferson Inn!

The Rose was a lovely room, and I slept well. Everything was clean, especially the wonderfully soft sheets. Linda, the owner, is helpful and makes a delicious breakfast. My first morning started with tea, fresh fruit, and a homemade muffin, then a crepe filled with scrambled eggs and sausage, topped with a nice sauce, plus home fries. Juice was offered, but I declined. I love The Jefferson Inn for its rustic charm and homey feel. Would I stay again? You bet.

After cycling 45 miles from VT, we got to the Jefferson Inn later than planned, and Linda welcomed us so warmly. The room was clean and comfortable, just right after a long ride. In the morning she gave us a choice of two breakfasts, and the French toast with local syrup was amazing. She was friendly and attentive, and even offered to help if we needed anything on our ride. A great stay.
