Holiday Inn Express & Suites Louisville N - Jeffersonville by IHG

We paid more than the price we’d seen online, even after looking at the military, AARP, senior, and points discounts. As Club members, what are we actually getting? We’ve come to expect perks at other Holiday Inn Express locations, like an open pool, Club drinks and snacks, cookies, and lemonade. My husband likes staying at a HI, while I like a good deal and extras. Any guesses where we’ll book next time?

The location makes it easy to reach several good restaurants, and breakfast was great. They grind the coffee fresh for each cup. The place was spotless and fully updated, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I can’t think of a better place to stay.

There are plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Our one-night stay was otherwise issue-free, though one bed hadn't been made when we arrived. Room service fixed that quickly.

The room was so uncomfortable because neither the air conditioning nor the fan worked. After we reported it, nobody came to repair them. We were handed an industrial fan instead, and it was loud enough to make relaxing or sleeping difficult. It felt like a stopgap, not a real solution. I expected the hotel to respond more quickly to a basic comfort problem. The lack of urgency was frustrating, and I hope management improves maintenance response and guest accommodations.
