Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Port Canaveral, FL

The pool and Hottub were great, and the rooms were good for the price. I wasn’t disappointed. I chose this hotel because it was near the port for my cruise. Jewels made me feel welcome right away with such kind hospitality and customer service. She really made the day before my trip feel relaxing and wonderful. Misty was also very helpful and welcoming when I had questions.

Tiffany welcomed us when we arrived and went above and beyond to make sure everything was right. The service stood out most, friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully designed, and the amenities were top-notch. The bedding was cozy and the whole place had a relaxing feel. The location made it easy to explore while still feeling like a peaceful escape. We had an incredible stay and will definitely return. I can’t recommend this hotel enough!

I’d rate the hotel around 6/10. It’s run down, dated, and the beds aren’t very comfortable. I understand rooms near a cruise port get a lot of wear and can be hard to maintain, but this place needs some TLC. It’s on the same property as the Hyatt, so I can only assume they have the same ownership. The front desk staff were the bright spot. I stayed twice in the past two weeks, for five nights and then three nights. Jewel, the front desk manager, was extremely nice, seemed genuine, and clearly loves her job. Watching her with guests and her team showed she’s a great leader. I also want to mention Yukari, who’s a total Gem, see what I did there. She has a great demeanor and even helped me with some Japanese. If money isn’t going into the space, the staff deserve some of it. Take them to a great restaurant and show them appreciation. They’re the front line and the only reason I’d book here again, if the Hyatt were full.

I’ve never had a worse hotel stay. Check-in was lackluster, and I overheard the desk clerk say she hated her job. I fell asleep in room 458, then woke at 2 a.m. covered in ants. They were everywhere, on the beds, table, and in the bathroom. I was mortified. I turned on the shower to clean myself up, but there was no hot water. I froze, though I managed to wash. When I told the desk clerk, she said previous guests in my room had complained too and that the room should have been taken out of service. She also said the hot water issue was her fault and she just needed to turn up the heat, whatever that means. She said she’d tell the manager and they would call me. No surprise, nobody called. The worst experience I’ve ever had.
