Market Street Inn

Lisa made us feel right at home, and her breakfast was delicious each morning. My husband and I love B&Bs, and this was a great one. The owners were lovely, too. We also really liked the charming historic building and its perfect location for our Louisville trip.

Lisa was especially thoughtful, always greeting us with a genuine smile and a kind word. Carol and Steve welcomed us warmly as soon as we arrived at their charming B&B, and the staff were gracious and friendly as well. They were accommodating throughout. I'd recommend staying here for a Louisville visit, and I'll be back next time I'm in town.

It was only a couple of blocks to the river and Spring Street in Jeffersonville, with plenty of places to eat nearby. Getting into Louisville took just a couple of minutes. After staying at nearby chain hotels before, we'll choose Market Street Inn B&B whenever we're in Jeff again. Our large suite had a sitting area and a spacious ensuite bathroom. The furnishings and decor were lovely, and the morning breakfast was nicely prepared. The inn itself is a beautifully restored mansion full of history.

We stayed Tuesday through Saturday, and the area was lovely for walking around town, with the Big Four Walking bridge close by. There's also a great sushi and boba tea place right next door, where we ate a couple of times. My daughter was in Louisville for a medical conference, only a 7 minute drive away, while I was there for pleasure. We enjoyed being here much more than staying in L’ville. We were in the smallest first-floor room. The bathroom was tight, but had what we needed. The accommodations were exceptional, breakfast was delicious, and the owners and workers were always pleasant to talk with. It felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend, and I'd gladly return.
