Days Inn Jekyll Island Oceanfront Resort

The staff are professional, helpful, and carry themselves well. The location is hard to beat, with excellent beach access. It’s not the fanciest place, but it’s the best value overall. It’s a little dated, though comfortable. In Room 162, the tub nozzle had come away from the wall, so I had to be careful using the faucet. I loved the deep tub for a good soak. Daily service was perfect. Breakfast was good apart from the paper-thin, overcooked bacon. They should drop it and serve sausage or maybe ham instead.

We’ve tried several places on the island, and this is the one we keep choosing. The staff are exceptional, and the hotel is immaculately clean and well maintained, even with its classic look. For us, it sets the standard. The pool is heated properly in winter, and the hot tub stays at the right temperature. Those matter, especially at a beach resort, where the pool is a key part of the experience. It’s the best-managed pool on Jekyll Island and works well for families and children who want to enjoy it year-round.

The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, and our quiet stay was a pleasant surprise given how close the hotel is to amenities. Our room was spacious and affordable, with comfortable beds. Breakfast is free, served upstairs in a room with great views. There’s an elevator if you’d rather not take the stairs.

When I need a quick getaway, Days Inn at Jekyll Island is my usual choice. I always book an ocean side view room. The location and welcoming staff are great, and the full breakfast has more than just pastries. Rooms are clean, and I like having a microwave and mini fridge. I’d recommend it for its beautiful location and reasonable prices.
