Rodeway Inn

The sidewalk outside was left uncleared during the big snowstorm, so I had to walk in the street to get to the Dunkin Donut next door. They also advertised HBO, but it wasn’t available, and my card was charged twice. I disputed the extra charge after being told it was a preauthorization that would be released, but it never was. I checked into room 126 during the storm and paid $25 for early check-in. The room was dirty, with ice on the floor by the door, and the TV didn’t work until the manager came to fix it. After my shower, the tub wouldn’t drain. The front desk sent an engineer and a housekeeping manager. She didn’t acknowledge me, and they tracked dirty ice onto the carpet while trying to deal with the drain. They couldn’t fix it, so she handed me a key to room 121 and told me to move. I had to pack in a hurry, and she never apologized for the disruption. Room 121 was dirty too, with stains on the toilet and tub and hair all over the bed. I took photos and went back to the front desk. The manager said the woman didn’t speak English and moved me again. I checked out Sunday and still had itches all over my body. The cleaning here is really poor.
