Travelodge by Wyndham Jersey City

Room 147 was disgusting. There was poop, strange stains on the pillow covers, and small mice. The ATM didn’t work, and my eyes had an allergic reaction after sleeping in the beds. The AC wasn’t working right and blew air at random. It was very cold when I got there, and they didn’t change anything, just left it as it was. One worker said they’d clean our room, but they never did. Then they said they don’t do that and that we should just give them the covers and towels. Some of the workers were rude. Please don’t come here.

It’s okay, I guess. One of the lights doesn’t work, there are holes in the wall, and one of the bed mats is broken. Everything else is okay.

The overall feeling here was really creepy. People sat in their cars staring as you left your room, and housekeeping would knock at random times, then disappear. The AC also shut off at strange times, and the room phone wouldn’t connect to certain numbers, including HCFS. The Wi-Fi wouldn’t give me internet until, coincidentally, right after I stepped out of the office from asking about it, then it disconnected again later. Unfortunately, I’ve stayed at several hotels that take vouchers from Hudson County Family services, and they’ve all been similar in a bad way. I’d never stay at a place like this by choice, but I was in a situation where I had no other option.

Cockroaches and small mice everywhere, rude front desk, and no housekeeping at all. The furniture is old, the place is in poor condition, and the paint is moldy. Very bad place.
