Palace Inn 290 & Jones Rd

I stay here often because the rooms are clean and spacious, the beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are clean too. The rates are very affordable, and management is always accommodating and helpful. You honestly won't find better rates and cleanliness.

It's actually nice, clean, and quiet here. The front desk guy with the black Toyota Corolla is amazing and super friendly. That makes a real difference, and I'll come back just for him.

When I'm in Houston and need a hotel, Palace Inn Jones Rd is my first choice, especially for a weekly stay. The prices are great, the environment is great, and the rooms are very clean. Even the floors look like marble, cleaned to perfection. The staff are really nice and take great care of you. Vic deserves a special mention. He handles things around the property like a pro and is proper and very kind, the nicest hotel staff member I've met. Ask for Vic at Palace Inn if you stay there. He'll take great care of check-in and help with anything you need if you call the front desk. I'm very satisfied and recommend this hotel to anyone around Jones Rd or staying away from the area. You won't regret it!

Deceptive pricing. They won't let you book online for a stay. They call and knock to get you to pay at the office, then use that to try to scam you into paying more. The online price gets you in the door, but they try to make you pay up to $90 for the same room you booked for less. A lot of people just leave at that point.
