Executive Inn & Suites Jewett

The room situation became a mess when we tried to extend our work stay. On the second night, we asked the front desk woman whether we should book another week then; she told us to come back after the three nights already booked, before checkout, to extend. On checkout morning, someone knocked to ask if we planned to stay seven more days. We said yes and went to the lobby, but after returning to our room we were told to leave because someone had booked it online for those nights. The staff were disorganized, and we'd already followed their advice about extending. I wouldn't have minded losing the room if we'd been told earlier, but why were we singled out to leave? When I called with those concerns, the owner or manager, a man, was hostile and confrontational. He'd already hung up mid-sentence on my coworker when they called to book, and yelled at another coworker who was trying to understand the pricing. We were told by phone the rate would be $76 a night, but were charged $91. Each day after work, the AC was either off or turned up as high as it could go. The lobby was stacked with boxes like a supply closet, the rooms were awful, and the man in charge was the opposite of accommodating. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone working in Jewett, whether you're booking for yourself or employees.
