Matt made us a delicious breakfast each morning, a great start to the day. The house was clean, and he was so accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it. The location worked well for visiting Jim Thorpe. We were there on a snowy weekend, so we drove into town, but it’s within walking distance if you’re up for going down a steep hill. Walking could save you the hassle of finding parking in town.

Matt’s made-to-order breakfasts were delicious, and he was friendly and accommodating throughout our weekend stay during Jim Thorpe’s 2025 Olde Time Christmas season. He also shared some local history and tips about nearby attractions and entertainment. It felt like a home away from home.

Tom and Nancy were thoughtful hosts, full of useful tips, local recommendations, and good stories. They gave us room to do our own thing and never made us feel crowded, but we enjoyed their company enough to join them at a bar and a show on our last night. Their son Matt cooked a delicious breakfast every morning. The place was quiet, relaxing, and just what we needed. We definitely plan to return.

The coffee was excellent, the place was clean, and the hospitality was first-rate. Hillcrest BNB is close to the village, too. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

Breakfast was a highlight: fresh fruit, a breakfast of our choice, and great coffee each morning. Tom and Nancy also shared several ideas for food, events, and local sights, and were very welcoming hosts. Our single room with its own bathroom was comfortable and spacious. The bed and breakfast is quite close to downtown Jim Thorpe, and we’re looking forward to coming back. There are local hiking and biking trails nearby, along with plenty of other things to see and do.
