The Harry Packer Mansion Inn

The murder mystery dinner was a blast. The actors from NY were seasoned and completely in character, and we could join in as much or as little as we wanted. They were still around afterward for another reservation, and we loved every minute of our first visit. My husband has already booked us for our anniversary. We stayed in the Lindermans room, which was comfortable and had a stellar view. The queen bed felt small, though the quality linens and great pillows helped. The Victorian furnishings felt authentic. There weren't outlets beside the bed, but there was a small charging station on the dresser. The bathroom was very basic, with a tiny toilet and shower. The shower pan didn't feel firmly attached, and at least one wall needed fresh caulk. The Mansion is lovely, and the owners and caretakers are top notch. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us, and by the end of the weekend everyone felt like an old friend.

We loved our stay October 3rd-5th and are already looking forward to coming back. The mansion was spotless, breakfast was fantastic, and the owners and staff made us feel so welcome. They patiently answered all our questions, even the dumb ones. You can tell they really love running this beautiful, one of a kind bed and breakfast. I'm hoping to bring my mom for a Murder Mystery weekend next time.

The mansion and grounds made the evening feel magical, almost like a mix of Hogwarts and Little Switzerland. The staff were kind and accommodating, which kept the whole night warm and welcoming. We went for the dinner and murder mystery show, and the actors were witty, talented, and fully into their roles. They stayed afterward to chat casually, which was a lovely personal touch. The buffet had lots of delicious choices for different dietary needs and preferences. It was such a fun night, with great food, entertainment, and stunning views. Harry Packer Mansion is a unique place for an evening out.

We stayed in the Annie Room and had a great time. It was comfortable, with plenty of outlets even in a historic mansion, and the WiFi worked well. Breakfast was good too. Everyone was friendly and the service was excellent. The place is peaceful and quiet, yet town is only a short drive away. We'll definitely come back.
