The woman at the front desk was very sweet when we checked in, but the room itself was outdated, though habitable. We kept finding ants in the trash and expected housekeeping to empty it on day two. No one came, and the ants eventually spread over the beds, floors, and nightstands, so we left early and booked somewhere else. I asked the front desk guy whether daily housekeeping was standard after three days with only towels brought to us, at 8 AM with nonstop knocking until someone answered. He said they should have come daily to clean. When I explained the ants, he just said “ok” and didn’t seem very concerned. I’d recommend researching another place to stay.

Easy process and a nice man at the front desk made for a solid stay. Room 201 was another story at night: I’m pretty sure there was a Great Wooly Mammoth in the next room. I can’t tell if someone was snoring that loudly or if the building was making the noise, but I had to crank up the heat to cover it.

The rooms were clean, quiet, and functional, if a little small, and breakfast was good. The staff were nice and the hotel seemed well maintained. My only gripe was the bed, the mattress was too lumpy.

The bed was warm and comfortable. The rest of the room had some issues: it smelled like mildew when I came in, though switching off the AC seemed to stop the smell circulating. The toilet tank refilled in short spurts, and the walls were so thin I could hear everyone talking.

I stayed here in November 25 for a funeral. While I was downstairs having breakfast, someone apparently went into my room, photographed every credit card I had, and began making charges. They started right after I left. Do NOT stay here, and don’t leave anything in your room.
