For $47 a night with tax, I expected more. Our door didn’t feel secure, the sheets hadn’t been changed, and the bed was dirty. I found the remote under the bed on a filthy paper towel. There was hair everywhere, and the whole room seemed unclean. We barely slept. Men talked outside our room past midnight, car doors kept slamming through the night, and people banged their room doors because they didn’t work properly. A woman was outside yelling on her phone at all hours. I was relieved our vehicle was still there in the morning. We slept in our clothes and didn’t shower. We got through it, but it wasn’t worth $47, and it’s going to be a long day.

We had no heat for three days, and the place was full of roaches, spiders, and rats. The doorknob broke, and it took them three days to replace it. They still didn’t refund me. The toilet wouldn’t flush for the first two days, there was a bad shower leak, and the sheets had been used. One morning I made free coffee and found a dead roach in the powdered creamer. The owners were horribly rude. I was from out of town, and if I hadn’t been waiting for a refund, I would’ve left right away. This was the worst stay of my life, absolutely disgusting. I don’t know how this place hasn’t been shut down. Please spread the word and get them closed.

The rooms are dated, but cozy for a cheap stay. We saw roaches the first night, told the front desk, and they came right over to spray. As far as I can tell, we haven’t had any more problems. The two guys working the desk are great to talk to and seem like good people. For inexpensive rooms, this was worth it.

I’m a clean freak, so I cleaned the room again before settling in.
