Ladybird Inn

The man in the office was extremely friendly and nice, and the beds were soft and more comfortable than beds at some high-end hotels. The room is old school and doesn’t look like much has been spent on remodeling. I expected painted-over light switches and baseboards at the cheapest hotel around, and those things didn’t affect our stay. What did bother me was the cleanliness. There were other guests’ socks under the beds, stains along the side of the bed, and a very dirty remote. The AC wouldn’t stay on, so we checked the filter and found it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages. We cleaned it, but that didn’t fix the AC, and the room got hot often. Being an older place doesn’t excuse the lack of cleanliness. That’s why I gave it two stars.

I stay here about twice a month. The rooms are clean, and it’s worth the money. I recommend it if you can’t afford $100 or more a night.

Mary and Donna Weed always stay in room 21, and they say the manager makes great cheesecake 😁 The room was really nice, with soft beds, a clean feel, and a good pool. The manager is so kind and sweet. Great hotel!

This was my second time here, and I’ll definitely come back. It’s a quaint place with really nice staff. The rooms aren’t the Taj mahal, but they’re clean, quiet, and there were no bugs.
