The staff were great, no question, but the room was a big disappointment. There were cockroaches in the bathroom, the tub wouldn’t drain, and after I was moved to another room down the hall, the A/C still wouldn’t work or cool the room. I barely slept because I worried there were more roaches, and I wish I could get my money back. For $100, I should’ve expected what I got, but this definitely wasn’t quality. The shower heads looked old, like they were from the 1960s. This visit reminded me why I might pay extra to stay somewhere nicer.

The bed in my second room was comfortable, the linen was clean, and the A/C worked great. Check-in went well until they had to move me because the first room hadn’t been cleaned. The bathroom was another story. I’ve never seen a tub shower in worse condition. I’m skipping the shower and getting back on the road first thing. Without a doubt, this was the worst condition hotel I’ve been in driving east to west.

You get what you pay for, somewhere in the middle, but this place definitely needs renovation. I stayed three nights and the room was never cleaned or given fresh towels. The bathroom wasn’t in good shape: the toilet took forever to flush, the shower pressure was leaking, and the carpet had pretty bad stains.

Check-in and checkout were quick, and the staff were great. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and the rooms, though a little dated, were very clean. I took off a star for the A/C. It ran, but the room stayed about ten degrees warmer than the thermostat setting. It was still comfortable enough to sleep in.

We enjoyed our stay and I’d definitely recommend this place. The room was nice and clean, though the first-floor area was very cold. The pillows were small and not firm at all, but the shower pressure was awesome, perfect after a long day of driving. The bartender was really friendly, and breakfast was good. The muffins were delicious, but the sausage patties weren’t very hot.
