Best Western Plus Jonesboro Inn and Suites

The lobby, lounge, and breakfast room look great, but our room needed a lot of repairs and deep cleaning. The bathroom floor hadn't been mopped, and my towel picked up dirt from it. The bottom sheet was pilled and had a small hole. Of the three Best Westerns on our trip, this one needed the most room maintenance. Two out of three, not bad. Breakfast started at 6 a.m., but the food was cold because the warmers weren't heating. The kitchen worker had to take it back to reheat. I was told the motel was full, and one person had too much to handle, so they needed more kitchen help. The Nestlé instant coffee dispenser was empty. Our little Keurig in the room had broken the night before, so I took it to the desk clerk, but since they were full, no other coffee maker was available. The guy working the desk that morning could barely lift his head from his phone. I also saw a review from the week before saying the pool was great, but it was closed for winter. What the heck? Were you paid to write a false review? It only got worse.

The bed was comfortable, and the price was about $75, but check-in customer service could be much better. I was in a fifth-floor king suite right across from the elevator. The pillows were small, and the parking lot was very dark. Several things in the room weren't working properly: the refrigerator and phone didn't work, the kitchen sink drained poorly, and the kitchenette light needed a bulb. The bathtub's drain plug was stuck, so I couldn't use the tub for a bath.

The large suite gave me lots of space, and the rooms were both spacious and clean. I found the rates fair for the quality of the stay. The central location was really convenient, especially for an extended visit, and the service was excellent. I had a wonderful experience at Best Western Plus. Thanks for such a great stay.

We slept fine in the bed that was okay, but one sheet was stained, so we used the other one. The room's coffee maker hadn't been emptied or cleaned after the previous guest, and there was no coffee in the machine before breakfast. The front desk guy seemed asleep each of the three times we had a question, and never brought a working TV remote, so we had to go downstairs for one. The paint and plaster work were a poor excuse for acceptable. Don't be fooled by the BW Plus name. This place didn't live up to it, and I'm moving on. No more BW for us.
