The Hotel at Huntington Square

The city police station is practically next door, which helped us feel safe. There’s also a small gas station and store across the street, and several shops, little restaurants, and bars downtown within walking distance. Parking was easy, either in the lot or in front of the units. We liked sitting on the porch for a drink a couple of times, though we wished there were chairs and patio furniture on the back deck or front patio. We chose this apartment-style place because we wanted a home away from home, with separate rooms and laundry. We booked a two-bedroom, and they upgraded us to a three-room unit at no extra cost. We really enjoyed it. The staff were very nice, especially the ones we met, and we got there a little early. With nobody around the office at the time, we went to the porch, had a drink from the great bartender, and chatted while waiting for check-in. There were a few small blemishes and maintenance things, but we understand those take time to get to. I’d stay here again if I’m in the area and highly recommend it.
