The heater barely worked, and the rooms were ice cold. The rooms aren't that nice either, so the price really wasn't worth it. I called ahead and was quoted $59.99, but they charged me almost $80 and said it was 14% tax. I added it up and was overcharged. Neither owner could hardly speak English. At check-in we were told checkout was 11 the next morning. Then at 10:05 they called our room and said it was 10:00, and argued with us about it. We'd stayed there before, and checkout had been at 11 then too.

The room had just been remodeled, but the door had been broken into at some point, and the deadbolt didn't seem to work. We were exhausted, so we went to bed and pushed the easy chair in front of the door just in case. There was a pet toy under the chair, which we didn't think much of at the time. In the morning we saw animal hair all over the sheets and pillowcases. The bedding had not been changed between guests. Disgusting. We won't stay here again.

For a reasonable price, it's a simple but pleasant place to stay. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice, which you don't come across much these days.

The room smelled awful, and the sheets on the bed were dirty. The tub and toilet were dirty too, and there was no soap at the sink. There was just one towel and no washcloths. Holes in the wall, and the TV didn't work or have a remote. Totally disgusting. I wouldn't recommend staying here. It's pet friendly, with a $50.00 deposit.

💜💙I've been here two weeks and I'm very, very happy with my stay. Clean, up-to-date rooms and wonderful owners. When I couldn't figure out how to unlock the door to room 121, they were happy to help every single time, even at 4 in the morning, and always with a smile. I couldn't ask for anything else. I love this hotel, and I'll never stay at another motel in Elkin or Jonesville! Elkin Inn is nasty. The owners there have bad attitudes and rude personalities, like they think they're better than everyone. The rooms are nasty and outdated, and it needs to be shut down. But Rodeway Inn motel in Jonesville NC is the best, hands down! I love y'all. Thanks for everything you do to keep smiles on everyone's faces. You're the best, and thanks again for a wonderful stay.
