Home2 Suites by Hilton Joplin, MO

The lobby was welcoming, with two Christmas trees and a cute little gift-wrapping table. We came to town for a basketball tournament and chose Home Two Suites in Joplin because it seemed newer than the Homewood Suites where we usually stay on trips. Our king bedroom suite had a separate living room, a huge bathroom with a shower instead of a tub, and a nice-sized vanity. It also had a chair, lots of lamps and outlets, plus a kitchen area with a freezer-refrigerator combination. The room looked new and was very clean, and the property seemed well managed and welcoming. We didn't get up in time for breakfast, though I noticed the food selection had improved. We recommend Home Two Suites.

We planned to stay one night while passing through, but a bad line of storms kept us from leaving the next morning. The staff were awesome and let us keep our same room. I watched the rain with coffee from the nicely decorated lobby. The hotel was clean, there were lots of restaurants nearby, and breakfast was really good.

The pool was just right, and our room was incredibly spacious and beautiful. I really enjoyed my stay and felt well rested. Breakfast was delicious, and the service was kind and pleasant. The waiting area has lovely decor and an outdoor fireplace. There are tons of restaurants nearby, plus an ice cream parlor behind the restaurant. If you're in the area, spend a night here.

Maria at the front desk jumped right in to help track down my coat. I'd left it behind on the way from MI to TX, and there'd been a mix-up about which Hilton location had found it. Maria wasn't there when we first checked in, only when we came back, but she tried to find out who had been on shift that day and see if she could call any managers. Thank you for caring and being ready to help! The food options nearby were decent. Nothing bunt Cakes is dangerously close, so watch out if you've got a sweet tooth.
