Center Street Villas

We had five people and really enjoyed the kitchen, large living room, and patio with its fire pit. The lack of internet service is true, as other reviews say, but I’d still happily book this place again. One heads-up: the heat in Joshua Tree seems to have slightly melted and sagged the window blinds, which isn’t very appealing. Look past that small issue and it’s a very nice place to stay. Five stars from us!

It was fairly decent overall, and being so close to the National park was a plus. The dirty floors were understandable since we were in the middle of the desert, but the house hadn’t been cleaned properly. The showerhead was much too low for me as a Dutch person, and I had to crouch to wash my hair. The couch was uncomfortable enough that even the plastic children’s chair felt better. When we arrived, the neighborhood made us wonder if we had the right address. We also hadn’t been sent a keylock code. Luckily, the door was unlocked, and after a quick call we got the code sorted out. Of the three TVs, only one worked. The other two had no cable connection, and there was no remote.

We had a wonderful time in Joshua Tree, and the place was very clean. The staff were great and shared helpful information about the area. We’re planning another trip soon. Special thanks to the property manager, Jenny.

Jenny was awesome. She’s a local and helped us a lot during our vacation, and I could’ve talked with her for hours! We loved the decorations, the relaxed feel, and the perfect location. We’ll be back soon.
