Residence Inn by Marriott Orlando Convention Center

The rooms were a little dated, with plenty of dents on the fridge door in room 107 and a sofa ottoman whose sides were quite worn. It wasn't a big deal, though. Check-in was quick, and breakfast was fresh, had lots of choices, and was served by cheerful, attentive women. A really nice hotel, and I'd recommend it.

The shower barely worked. It wouldn't turn on all the way, and the water pressure was too weak to wash my hair. The bed was at least the usual comfortable Marriott kind, but the hotel smelled strange, looked dirty and heavily used, and clearly needs an upgrade. I'm a loyal Marriott fan and used to say I didn't care where we stayed as long as it was one, but I won't say that after this visit. If we hadn't arrived close to 10 pm with our child already asleep, I would've left and asked for a refund. We couldn't get out of there fast enough.

The room was clean and the food was very good during our stay on 1/7/26. I wasn't impressed with the service from the woman who served us, though. She wasn't friendly, and the coffee was often empty. I hope they can improve that.

The manager made sure the room was decorated, and the service was great, but the room was a disaster. There were several outlets that didn't work, stains and dirty spots in the room, a ripped couch that made us uncomfortable about using the sofa bed, and marked, dirty baseboards. The hotel says it can accommodate 4-6 people, yet there wasn't enough silverware. Breakfast timing seemed to change each day. We were told it ended at 10:00 a.m., but the waffle makers were put away by 9. My friend even found cheese in her cup while getting the complimentary water. The lobby looked and smelled amazing, but the hallway on our floor smelled of mildew. For a Marriott, I was heavily disappointed, especially as I've been a Marriott rewards member for years. It didn't feel worth the price.
