We booked three nights for a big event in the area, but the coffee machine and shower in our room didn’t work. Amanda, the manager, was told, and maintenance checked the next day but did nothing. My wife had to wash her hair in our daughter’s room. At what looked like a continental breakfast bar, a rude food clerk stopped me and said I wasn’t entitled to breakfast. It was embarrassing, and I’ve never stayed at a hotel where the continental breakfast was only for selected guests. My reservation didn’t say it was limited to certain bookings. Elizabeth O'Leary, the General Manager, eventually got involved and arranged for Fabiano Pierra to call after we left. He apologized and said he’d investigate, might refund part of the cost, and get back to me. I never heard from him. A week after returning home, I complained to corporate and was told they’d respond in three days. It’s now been over a month without a reply. Thirty-two people from our group stayed at other hotels nearby and had a delightful time. We didn’t. Choose another hotel in Kalispell.

We had what was close to a perfect three-day stay. The hotel and Kalispell were beautiful, and while most of the other guests seemed to be rushing around, I took time to appreciate it. The rooms were spacious and clean, the hot tub and pool were great, and the workout equipment was just right. Staff were kind and helpful, breakfast hit the spot, and I loved the coffee. Thanks to everyone for taking such good care of us. We’ll be back next time we’re in town.

The pool and hot tub were never crowded, the beds were super soft, and I never noticed any extra noise. Breakfast was incredible, and the staff working each morning were friendly and helpful. We got a warm welcome when we arrived, and they helped me find some great places to check out. I’d spent months looking for somewhere to stay during a family wedding and event, and I was impressed with the Hilton Garden Inn. On our last morning, there seemed to be a server software problem while we were packing up and having breakfast, but the breakfast server didn’t miss a beat. The manager and front desk gal were wonderful too. If I’m back in the area, Hilton Garden Inn is my choice. I just kept oversleeping every day, which is what vacation is for! (10/5-10/8, 126!)

The hotel was nice, the staff were very friendly, and it was close to the wedding venue. My only issue was the $16 charge for a breakfast buffet that was no different from the complimentary breakfast at other associated properties. At $272 a night, I thought breakfast should have been included. I stayed at a beautiful Hampton Inn in a resort city a few months earlier, and the exact same breakfast was complimentary there.

Check-in and checkout were quick and friendly, the only positives. The room was disgusting: long hairs in the bathroom, mold in the shower, visible dirt on the TV remote and nightstand, and a dirty carpet. I’d sleep in my car before staying here again.
