Our condo had been redone in a Balinese style, with beautiful marble in the bathrooms. The grounds were immaculate, and from the lanai we could watch Hawaiian birds by the fish pond. The pass for the beach club was a real bonus, since it’s the best kiki beach. The condo pool was better than I expected, with shaded padded lounge chairs and a great BBQ area. Parking was private and close by. It’s a short walk to the beach, though driving to the beach club was easy. We also walked over to Mauna Lani’s Canoe House and enjoyed a fine, very expensive sunset dinner.

The setting feels peaceful and tropical, which makes it a lovely choice for a quiet, upscale Hawaii getaway. These roomy, well-equipped condos sit by the beach on the Big Island, with Pacific views and the surrounding scenery. As part of Mauna Lani Resort, guests can use the golf courses, beaches, pools, and restaurants.

The little beach was a real surprise, the snorkeling there was even better than at Cooks Bay. The supermarket up the road is great too, and our kids often had the pool to themselves. We were in H203, a very clean, comfortable suite with modern island style and a wonderful view. It was quiet, with none of the big crowds. We had such a good time here, it was the highlight of our Hawaii trip. I can't imagine the Fairmont suites getting better than this.

We had an awesome stay. The apartments were in great shape, with spectacular views and shared barbecue and pool areas. The private beach was amazing for swimming, lake boarding, and especially snorkeling.

I've stayed on the Big Island a few times, and this is my favorite place. The gated parking felt very secure, and there are excellent beaches nearby. Each condo has a fridge and kitchen, plus access to a lovely pool and grill area closer to the beach.
