The staff were so kind and patient, and I really appreciated how thoughtfully they tried to help. I have EDS and MCAS, and vibration is a trigger for me. I stay in hotels often and can usually manage by avoiding rooms near the HVAC, but here the units were on the roof and I felt significant vibration wherever I went. We tried different ideas, but nothing worked well, and I ended up in a lot of pain. I know it wasn't because the staff didn't try. Normally I can turn the AC completely off in a hotel and stop the vibration. Here, the air compressor kept running in every room. I'm not sure why, and I'm sure most people wouldn't find it a big deal. For me, it caused a lot of pain. I can't thank whoever was working enough for being so patient and kind.

The room had a comfortable layout and stayed pleasant during my visit. I found the hotel clean and the staff welcoming, and I'd stay here again when I'm back in the area. Breakfast and parking were free, though the meal choices were limited. There was also an onsite fitness center with a good range of equipment.

I was here for an event at the Classic Center, which wasn't far away. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and it was a nice place to unwind. Breakfast wasn't really for me, but it was the usual free hotel spread. I'd stay here again.

The manager still hasn't returned any of my calls. For five days I've tried to reach Adi, and I'm told she's in a meeting, at lunch, or out of the building. That's very disappointing after such a serious problem, and guests shouldn't have to spend days chasing management for follow-up. My family and I stayed at the Fairfield by Marriott in Athens, Georgia, on Saturday, August 30th. Around 2 AM, we woke to the AC blowing hot air. The wall unit wouldn't turn off, and the room quickly got close to 100°, so I had to unplug it myself. It felt unsafe with me, my father, and my children all stuck in the heat. The maintenance worker, Sean, came to the room, apologized, and promised compensation. Based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend the hotel.

After a full day of travel, we got a great night's sleep in a really comfortable bed. The place was spotless, everything worked, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and well stocked, and check-in and checkout were both quick and easy. I'd absolutely recommend staying here.
