Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Kanab

The place was filthy, with a terrible smell in the hall and an even worse odor in the room. The carpet was heavily stained, and water marks or white mold along the woodwork, dresser, and cabinets suggested flooding. The sheets smelled like dirty feet, and I found a long black hair in the bedding. There was black mold in the shower, fingerprints on the mirror, a broken window screen, and dead bugs everywhere. This place was horrid. You get what you pay for, and I can't recommend it.

The room was nice and had everything I needed. The carpet could have been vacuumed better, and the bathroom tile floor needed a more thorough cleaning.

The facilities are being upgraded, and although the rooms were clean, they still need work. The desk guy wasn't friendly and insisted on cash for my dog instead of taking a card.

For what we paid, this was a real disappointment, especially after years of staying at Wyndom hotels. The room felt dated. One bed had no blanket, the desk chair was held together with duct tape, the security door wouldn't latch, the vanity light was out, and none of the ice machines worked on any of the three floors. These people need some help! In Kanab, Utah.
