Affordable Suites Kannapolis

I’ve been living at Affordable Suites Kannapolis, NC for a year and a half while working here and getting ready to relocate. Deidre has made the place feel safe and comfortable, almost like home. She’s courteous, professional, and has a warm, down-home manner. When I’ve needed extra help, she and Amy have taken care of it. I’m grateful I chose to stay here.

Finding a place in Kannapolis that would take my dog without huge extra fees was tough after I moved here from Idaho. I called Affordable Suites and explained things to Deidra, the manager. She had a pet room available and invited me to come see it, so I did. We’ve been here about three months now, and it’s going really well for both of us. There’s plenty of space out back for my dog to run, stretch his legs, and play fetch with his bumper. Walmart and other amenities are nearby. Everyone is polite and very nice, the housekeeper cleans the room weekly, and they provide the bedroom linens and bathroom supplies you need. The grounds are kept clean and look nice. If you need an extended stay, I’d recommend calling or checking them out online.

My daughter has been at Affordable Suites for over a year since taking a job in Kannapolis, NC, and she’s comfortable there and doesn’t want to leave. She wanted somewhere safe where she could have privacy and be near stores, and it’s worked out well for her. When I visit, I sometimes talk with the manager, Dedra. She’s friendly, easy to find, and takes the time to chat. Thank you, Ms. Dedra, for looking after the needs of your tenants. You make short and long stays affordable, comfortable, safe, and clean. I’d give you a 10 if I could.

Please avoid this place. Ms Deidra is rude and disrespectful, and if there’s a complaint or she has a problem with you, she’ll call over and over, even when you’re at work, without checking whether the complaint is true. If she doesn’t like something you do, she threatens eviction. She’ll also call and threaten you if you leave anything behind when checking out. She treats the housekeeper terribly, too. Over small issues, she’ll yell at you and leave voicemails threatening to lock you out if you don’t call back right away. Corporate should fire her for how she treats guests and the housekeeper.
