We had the best time during our 11-night stay over the Christmas holidays, and we’ll definitely come back. The staff supplied a cooler, beach chairs, and beach towels, which helped a lot. The location was perfect, and after full days out, the comfortable bed and sound of the waves made for great nights of sleep.

The view from our room at Hotel Coral Reef at Kealia Beachfront was breathtaking, and being able to get straight to the beach made the stay even better. The reception staff were so friendly and welcoming. They greeted us with a delicious welcome drink and fresh banana bread, and all the little details helped make the visit relaxing and memorable. An incredible beach getaway. Highly recommend!

It was my first visit to Hawaii, and I learned quite a bit. Coral Reef is in a desirable area near in Kapa'a, along the coastal road. Construction had caused traffic congestion on that road, and I was worried I might miss my return flight the next morning. Since the reservation was non-refundable, I was also concerned about canceling. Brandi and Alicia put those worries to rest. After I explained the situation, they were supportive and understanding, and told me to call for a waiver so I could receive a complete refund without dispute. The refund showed up in my account 24 hours later. I applaud Brandi and Alicia for their unprecedented generosity. Guests at Coral Reef will be well cared for, making a Hawaiian escape even more relaxing.

We’d stay here again for the excellent location and the wonderful ocean view with morning coffee. The rooms are dated and could use a good cleaning. We also had an AC issue at first, though it was resolved in a timely way.

It’s not fancy, but it worked just fine for us since we weren’t planning to spend much time in the room. Most importantly, it was clean. The location was good, and there was just enough parking.
