W-kapalua Golf Villas 24t1 by Coldwell Banker Island Vacations

We stayed in villa 17p7 on the golf course. The lanai had a perfect view, and mornings were lovely and quiet, with birds and nature sounds. The villa was clean throughout, with a great kitchen, comfortable beds, and just the right size and amenities. The beach was close, maybe a 10-minute walk, so we got our steps in. I'd recommend it to everyone.

A peaceful, relaxing spot with easy access to beaches and the Coastal Trail. Great place.

The view is pretty, but this wasn't the place for us. If you want to drive to the beach, turn in early, and have nowhere to sit except your lanai, then maybe it's fine. We found a cockroach in the room, and the place was outdated, poorly cleaned and had no amenities. The pool was small and there was no hot tub. They'll call security if you sit and talk on your balcony after 10 pm. We weren't told about that until the night before we landed. Although I booked in April 2024, our four villas were still driving distance apart. We paid $13,000 for five nights.

The location was nice, with good views and just a few minutes' walk to the beach. Our two-room suite had plenty of space for four. But some of the furniture was worn and dated, and we found roaches. We think there might also have been termites: wood dust-looking stuff kept coming back on the counter after I cleaned the area three times. Only half the air conditioning worked, so one room was cool and the rest stayed pretty hot. For what we paid, I expected a lot more and would have liked to give it more stars.
