The guides kept putting us onto great fishing, and we were fed ridiculously well, from prime rib and king crab to home-cooked breakfasts and all sorts of lunch-box treats. Dorothy and her staff made us feel like family, and Lyndsey was so kind. Ryan's meals were amazing, and we were never left hungry. The lodge and its setting were beautiful, and the whole week turned out even better than we'd hoped when booking. We left today after one of the best weeks of my life. We thought we'd only make this trip once, but we're already saving for a possible return next year. Definitely worth the cost.

The lodge was a peaceful, welcoming place to unwind, enjoy meals, and spend time with the other guests. We arrived to a fantastic prime rib dinner, then had three days to fish for Silvers, Halibut, and several kinds of large catch-and-release fish. Dorothy was flexible about fitting our trip into a very narrow schedule, and the guides and staff did a great job. We left wanting to come back soon.

We’ll see you in July again, Aunt Dorothy! She and the staff keep trying to make each season better, and the whole stay feels top notch. This lodge has beauty, class, and sass, and Dorothy makes an Alaskan adventure feel like a once-in-a-lifetime trip every time.

She also packed lunches whenever we planned a day out. We felt looked after from start to finish, with great meals and top-notch accommodations. Crooked Creek Retreat in Kasilof made our Alaska vacation one we’ll always remember. We’re so glad we went.
