I’m a Titanium member, but my status wasn’t recognized. I arrived shortly after the Texas winter storm and had no heat in my room that first night. The pillows were paper thin, and I slept no more than four hours each night because I was so uncomfortable. Bring your own pillow. I won’t stay at this location again.

The kitchen facilities made me think this would be a nice hotel for a stay with kids, but it was so disappointing. The elevator stopped working the day after we arrived. They said it would be repaired the next day, but it never was, so every day I had to use the stairs to the second floor with three small kids and shopping bags. I had to call the front desk several times every day to get room essentials. Any mom knows how long it takes to get three little kids ready to go out, and all that made it even harder. The water also stopped working properly and came out brown and disgusting. When I called about it, they said they would do some kind of test. I thought it was about the water, but then they ran a fire test and sounded the alarm. My kids were terrified. I’m never coming back.

Costco is right next door, close enough to walk to, and there are plenty of places to eat nearby, so the location is convenient. The rooms are clean and updated, and the gym is great. Breakfast service could use a little improvement, but it was a quality stay and I’d come back when I’m in town. Definitely recommend it.

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. On my first visit a couple of years ago, I stayed a week and the elevators didn’t work the entire time, so we had to use the stairs whenever we needed to get to the car. They also left pool water tracked into the halls by kids. The most they did was put up a sign, so you had to try not to slip all the way to your door. I came back for two weeks, thinking maybe the elevators would work now. I was wrong: two years later, only one works. On the fourth morning, my girlfriend and I were woken at 6 am by a fire alarm. It happened again the next morning. There was no fire, and each alarm lasted only three seconds. Our keys also stopped working randomly, so I went downstairs to get them fixed. They still didn’t work when I came back up. Then the elevator stopped working again as I tried to go back down. It’s been a week, and no one has collected our trash. There’s a pile outside, and every other day we have to go to the front desk to ask for towels. I’m never spending another dime here.
