On the first day of the three-night stay I paid for through a website, I found bed bugs and said I was leaving. He offered another room, but I wasn't moving my babies along with the bed bugs. He said he'd refund me, then charged an extra $50 instead. I did get that $50 back, but I still paid $168 for one night in a bed bug-infested room. Definitely won't be back.

I've used this basic, inexpensive hotel several times while traveling through Nebraska. It's easy to get on and off the road, and generally pretty clean. The amenities are simple, and there's a continental breakfast. You can walk to several places in a minute or two. There's plenty of parking, including truck parking, but check the space first if you're bringing a tractor trailer before committing to the turn in. Anything smaller is easy.

When we checked in, milk for breakfast was sitting out in the lobby. The room and hallways were dark and dirty, and the air vents were filthy. One of the two beds sagged badly in the middle and needed replacing. I'm glad we brought our own sheets. This was the worst hotel we've ever stayed in. Don't stay here.

I arrived around 1 a.m. while driving from CO to MN for Christmas, with this hotel as my halfway stop. The man at the front desk was extremely rude. I rang the bell as the sign asked, and he came up as if I'd woken him and badly inconvenienced him. He asked why I was checking in so late, even though I'd paid and the website said nothing about a cutoff. The room felt creepy, like we were being watched. My dog kept growling at the mirror, which I'd never seen her do before. It was so dirty that I slept on top of the covers and turned the heat up rather than get under the blanket. The TV wouldn't even turn on. I'd rather have slept in my car at a rest stop. I want my money back.
