Boardwalk Inn

We were there in mid November 2025, and our room looked out over the stage while a band was playing. TAYLOR was really helpful with our Reservations and greeted us graciously when we arrived, making sure we had what we needed and giving us plenty of information. The staff were super friendly. A hidden jewel in Texas, and a great place to stay!

The King size bed was amazing, and parking was great. There are lots of places for shopping and dining nearby, too. On my first trip to The Boardwalk Inn, I noticed how good the whole Inn smelled as soon as I walked in. The staff were friendly and professional. Thanks, Boardwalk Inn, for a great stay. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

We were as glad to leave as we were to arrive. The employees we dealt with seemed unhappy and uninterested, as if the fact that this is the only hotel on the boardwalk should be enough. Finding it was a hassle, too: the entrance is on the boardwalk's second floor, with no sign to tell you, and it's tucked in a corner that's hard to spot in the dark if you've never been there. Our Plaza King was a good size with a nice boardwalk view, and the heat and AC worked properly. But the toilet was unbelievably short. At 6'7", getting on and off that tiny thing was awful.

The view is lovely, and it's quiet during the week. We came to be near the boardwalk, but a day trip would have been enough. It's nice, though very overpriced, and there aren't many halal food options. They also don't allow food from outside vendors into the hotel.
