Roxana Válido deserves special recognition for her dedication, kindness, and attention to detail. You can see the care and effort she puts into her work every day, and it made our stay more comfortable and enjoyable. The housekeeping team kept everything spotless, organized, and welcoming throughout the hotel. People like Roxana really make a difference to the service. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

There’s a nice outdoor area with benches and places to sit, and the hotel is quiet. The pool stays open until 11 and has towels, though the hot tub wasn’t working properly. It’s dog friendly, and the rooms and hotel were clean. The beds were comfortable, check-in was quick, and we had no issues. The guests we met were nice too. A few things to know: you need your room key to use the elevators, which we only figured out after 15 minutes. Happy hour runs 5 to 7, but drinks are still pricey. There’s no free breakfast, just the paid restaurant, at $13 or more per person. Table 55 had good food, though it was a little expensive. Parking is a long way from the hotel, but valet is available. It’s $27 a day, paid at check-in, and you’re charged each time you come and go. Your room key also lets you enter and exit the parking area. There was construction going on during our stay, and there’s no resort fee.

The surrounding area is attractive, and the lobby vending area is great. But after being on the road for a while, I’d confirmed the hotel had guest laundry, only to find the washer and dryer were broken. The room also had a few housekeeping misses: a spill by the mini fridge, dust on the bathroom’s undersink shelf, and carpet that needed a better vacuum. The front desk brushed me off when I raised these things, and I had to pull them away from their computer to get their attention. The Starbucks line was too long, so I went to the cafe instead. The coffee cost the same and wasn’t as good.

Baptist Health is just across the pond, which made this hotel extremely convenient for our visit to see the Oncologist. They even have a free shuttle for rainy days. The property is beautiful, the rooms are spacious, and it has everything you could need: a restaurant with a great burger, a beautiful gym, a large outdoor pool, Starbucks inside, and a small grocery area with snacks, drinks, and miscellaneous items. The front desk team was exceptional and professional. My only complaint would be paying for parking. I’m used to getting all the extras at no charge as a Diamond Elite with another Brand, but this stay was worth every dime. I highly recommend it.

My wife and I had a pleasant stay at the Hilton Miami Dadeland. It’s a comfortable, well-located hotel and generally well organized, which is why I’ve rated it positively. Still, for a premium room price, some basic things should be addressed. The refrigerator wasn’t working properly, and its evaporator coil was covered in ice, which seems like a maintenance issue. The room doors were visibly damaged, as the photos show, and rooms in that condition shouldn’t be rented out. At the front desk, staff looked at guests but never said hello. Greeting people seems like basic hospitality training, and management should pay attention to it. We liked the hotel overall, but these issues could lead some guests to rate it lower. Why aren’t staff trained to greet guests properly? It’s a good hotel with some areas to improve.
