The Harbor Inn

The room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable, and we were lucky to enjoy the delicious Sunday morning breakfast. Mike was a terrific host, getting the balance just right between being available and giving us space. He also pointed us to Nunan's lobster shack for dinner, which was a great recommendation. We had a wonderful, if short, stay at The Harbor Inn and couldn’t fault it.

Mike was an amazing host at The Harbor Inn, with great suggestions for food, activities, and just about anything. The whole place made for a perfect few days of relaxing. I’d wake up after a good night’s sleep in a beautifully decorated room, head downstairs over the creaky floors for homemade blueberry scones, then sit on the porch in a rocking chair and watch the sun come up. Later, there was always the option of a nap, a puzzle, or a seat by the fireplace or on the pillow-filled window seat, with hot tea and an afternoon treat. Soft music played downstairs while the leaves fell on a brisk fall day in Kennebunkport. We could walk to the beach or borrow one of The Harbor Inn’s bikes, then watch the sunset over the ocean. Dinner at Mabel's for lobster was next.

Mike, the innkeeper, was really kind and had plenty of ideas for places to eat and things to do. We loved the afternoon treats and coffee or tea, and sat on the big front porch with our coffee each morning. It’s a cute, cozy B&B close to downtown.

Mike, the innkeeper, was so accommodating and kind, and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. The location is great, just a short walk or bike ride from downtown and the shops, and they have bikes you can borrow. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely be back. Thanks for everything!
