I appreciated the little conveniences in the studio: slippers, a thermostat that was easy to use, a roomy mini-fridge, a bar sink, and a kettle alongside the coffee maker. It felt cozy, welcoming, and full of books to browse. Cleanliness is my top priority when I travel, and everything felt fresh and well cared for. Bars and restaurants are within walking distance, and Longwood Gardens is a short drive away. I’d gladly stay here again.

This was exactly the cozy, relaxing weekend my fiancé and I needed while juggling full-time jobs and getting married in three weeks. The room felt magical, and we loved our stay. The mattress was a little firm and the street noise could be noticeable at times, but that’s nitpicking. I can’t recommend this place enough.

My book-loving wife especially enjoyed the upstairs reading space and all the books in the Writer's Nook suite. We came for the weekend after Thanksgiving and felt relaxed from the moment we arrived. The little thoughtful touches were much appreciated, and being so close to downtown made it easy to walk to breakfast and dinner. A wonderful stay.

My dad helped my husband surprise me with a birthday weekend at the Bookhouse Hotel in Kennett Square. We loved our room, the welcoming lobby, and the hotel’s quaint feel. It’s a literary lover’s dream. The stay was even better thanks to the cute little free libraries, great coffee shops, boutiques, and restaurants nearby. He knows me well!

My son and I had been hoping to visit this cute, quaint place for a while. We only had one night, but it was a delightful stay. We loved the books around the room, and I started three that I now need to buy and finish at home. The bed was cozy, and the reading nook was comfortable.
