Everyone was so nice, with friendly service and a smile. Loved it.

The working Wi-Fi, bright parking lot, and air conditioner that cooled the room quickly were about the only good parts. The room smelled like smoke, and there were roaches in the bathroom and sewer flies all over. I guess that's why the windows were open when I arrived, with air freshener sitting there too. The $50 price included tax, which was great, and I might even have paid $60 or $70 if the bugs hadn't been there. Still, I definitely wouldn't stay again.

I haven't stayed there myself, just visited friends who did, but the place seemed comfortable. The beds and pillows looked nice, and there was a love seat at the foot of the bed. For a longer stay, it seems handy to have a stove, sink, full bathroom, and a small fridge that's larger than a mini fridge but not full-sized. It looks like a nice option if you need to stay longer than a vacation.

The bed had bugs. That was bad enough, but there were also cigarette burn holes in the wool blanket, no coffee in either the room or lobby, and nowhere to hang clothes. The walls were so thin we heard every truck on Highway 41, and cold air, possibly bugs too, seemed to come in around the badly installed air conditioner. I was quoted a lower price on the phone than I was charged. If your choices are this place or sleeping in your car, take the car. The motel down the street isn't great either, but after leaving this one it felt like a five-star hotel. Disgusting.
