Sonoma Creek Haven Hot Tub Firepit Creekside Views Near Kenwood Wineries

We spent the last night by the outdoor fire pit, then watched a movie in the cozy home theater. Earlier, we’d enjoyed stargazing from the private hot tub, taking cold plunges in the creek, and hiking to a nearby waterfall, just 3 minutes away. There’s also a convenient outdoor shower under the oak tree. The home is spotless and thoughtfully designed. It’s a peaceful, private spot surrounded by nature, yet only minutes from Ledson, St. Francis, and Landmark Vineyards. Glen Ellen, downtown Sonoma, and Napa Valley are also a short drive away, and San Francisco is about an hour away. A lovely place for a romantic getaway, a weekend away, or a quiet wine country retreat. We can’t wait to return.

The creek was the best part of the house for me. Every room looks out at it, and falling asleep to the running water was so soothing. We even spent our whole first day at the house, just relaxing, and it felt perfect. The modern rustic design is warm and spacious, with lots of natural light. The layout made it easy to spend time together or find a quiet place to unwind. We cooked while chatting with friends on the deck and around the fire pit, and the two cozy living rooms gave us room to relax. My favorite moments were playing records by the fire in the morning and at night, with that incredible sound system. We had an afternoon picnic by the creek, dipped our feet in, then used the outdoor shower and hot tub under the trees. The house feels tucked into nature, but great restaurants and wineries like Kunde, Ledson, St.Francis etc. are only minutes away. We also walked to Sugarloaf Ridge State Park for a quiet hike to a small waterfall. It’s rare to go from hot tub to hiking trail without getting in the car. This place feels private and peaceful, with so many little joys. We’re already thinking about coming back, and staying longer next time.
