So cozy, and I loved the interior design throughout this beautiful place 😍. Best motel I've stayed at so far in the US.

We booked the two-bedroom suite the same day we called. After three days camping, my family and I just wanted to freshen up and swim, and we weren't expecting much from a motel. The suite really surprised us. The decor was amazing and felt luxurious, and the bathroom looked great, with a rainfall showerhead and a vanity mirror with adjustable lighting. Kylie was very nice when she helped us book, and someone showed us to the room when we arrived. The room came with Milano cookies, a couple of water bottles, a hair dryer, a fridge, and a microwave. There were lots of drawers for clothes, though we didn't see a closet or a full-length mirror. No laundry room either, but there's a laundromat down the street. The pool was clean, with towels and plenty of lounge and regular chairs. It ranges from 3 to 9 feet deep. There's also a billiards table, a grill, and a sweet resident dog named “Matilda” who wanders around the property. We had a great stay and plan to return for several days next summer instead of just one.

A charming little find on our road trip 🤩. The 50s and 60s atmosphere made for an unforgettable stay, and Kylie was so kind to us!

I stayed here on both legs of my trip to and from Death Valley. The owner was accommodating even though I arrived after 10 pm each time, which is why I chose the place again on the return journey. The rooms are cozy, with decorative furnishings and designs, and it was very quiet. The grounds are cute, too. I'd spent too long at the local saloons the night before to wake up in time for the continental breakfast. The cookies and water were a nice touch, and I happily ate and drank all of it.

We came across this little motel by luck, and Kylie was friendly and helpful. She booked us a room and helped figure out somewhere to park our truck and trailer. The room was much bigger than expected and well appointed. I've stayed at plenty of three-star hotels that don't compare to Pinecone. We'll put it on our list for the next Sierras trip and hope to stay longer than one night.
