Loved the relaxed complex and the marina. Everyone was polite, helpful, and friendly, and the pool was just right. The premises felt secure, with a few eateries and bars within walking distance. We stayed in '25 and are going back in '26.
August is perfect here if you can handle the heat. I don’t know what the winter months are like, but it was almost empty during my stays. I counted five families one day and had the pool to myself every day, weekends included. This was my second time here alone for peace and quiet, for a month the first time and five weeks this time. It felt like the lap of luxury in an almost private setting, and a great place to get to know yourself again. Thank you Arthur, Ricky and his wife. I had an awesome time with Jose! I gained family here. 🙏❤️👍
We had a lovely time here. The people were wonderful, the views beautiful, and the fishing awesome. There’s lots nearby too. My family and I recommend it, and would definitely go again, 10/10!

A409 felt truly homey, safe, clean, and comfortable. The views from the screened balcony and main bedroom were like watercolor paintings, looking out over the water, docks, palm trees, and pool. The place seemed to have brand new everything, not just to be completely renovated. The whole complex was pristine, and the people were welcoming, from all over the country. We were a family of four and spent a week here. The location made it easy to drive north about an hour to the Everglades or head south through the Keys all the way to Key West. Coming back to rest, cook, relax, watch TV on any of the three big screens, or cool off in the AC was a relief. The whole place is on one floor, and having new laundry appliances was a nice bonus. The owners left a personalized list of things to do, places to go, and meals to try, and we did plenty of it. We also shopped at two grocery stores within 1-2 miles of our gated paradise. Contact Barefeet Vacation Rentals about this unit before it’s no longer available. My one regret is not finding out who the owners’ bathroom tile guys were, and who did the gorgeous kitchen countertops. We’ll be back!
