Sun Outdoors Key Largo

We stayed three nights in one of the smaller hotel rooms rather than the larger units, and I think these rooms are older. A few basic updates would help. The mattress was very cheap and needs to be replaced. There were no chairs, just two barstools, which I used for my suitcase. The large closet had no hangers, so it was useless to us. The mini split A/C couldn't keep up. Even set all the way down to 63, we were still warm. The bathroom was a decent size and the shower was large, but the rain shower head had so little pressure that rinsing my hair was difficult. There was no vanity or anywhere to put toiletries, so I used the windowsill and melted my hair products. The barn door had no lock and was off level, so it opened on its own. Cell service was limited, and I could never access the WiFi.

We loved our stay at in Key Largo sun outdoors. It was just right for two people, and the motel was incredibly clean and well cared for. The beds were super comfortable, so it was easy to relax after a day out. The staff were wonderful and welcoming. We also loved the ocean view and those beautiful sunsets every night. They made the trip special. For a clean, comfortable, and peaceful place in Key Largo, this is a perfect choice. We'd definitely stay here again.

Sun Outdoors Key Largo is a clean waterfront campground, and it has a nice club area with a fire and places to lounge by the water. The grounds are small and the sites are tight. Most of it is gravel, so there isn't much grass for pets to walk on or use for potty breaks. At $200/night, it's steep, and there are extra charges for a resort fee and a community impact fee. I suppose you pay that if a clean waterfront community is what you're after. It was also a bit hard to speak directly with someone who works there. It seems to be part of a large network of vacation rental places.

Our RV spot, I think it was #9, gave us a beautiful view of the water. The beach was clean and great for swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking, and the site was immaculate. We only stayed a couple of nights, but had a fantastic time. The staff were wonderful. What a treat! 🤙
