A few things could use attention. The beds creaked a lot and weren’t comfortable, and the disposable cups, plates, and cutlery at breakfast felt wasteful. The TV playing commercials during breakfast wasn’t much use either. Truman, maybe take it out and put on some nice music instead? The breakfast lady was lovely. The rooms were clean and had a nice feel, though some updating here and there would help. Still, a nice experience overall.

A lovely little place. Our room was clean, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. You can hear some noise from neighbors and people outside, so the rooms aren’t completely soundproof. It didn’t bother us too much, though.

We liked being about a block from Duval Street, and the area was quiet. We stayed three nights in November. The rooms were pretty nice, but the beds and pillows weren’t especially comfortable. Breakfast was a basic chain hotel style spread, and the hot croissants were gone with an hour still left in the two-hour breakfast window. Noise was noticeable too. The walls were thin enough that we could hear muffled voices next door, as well as people eating breakfast outside our room by the pool in the mornings. It wasn’t awful, but could bother someone sensitive to sound. The cleaners left complimentary treats each day, and it was handy having the front desk available 24/7. For the price, especially in the off-season, some of those details were disappointing, though the stay wasn’t terrible.

Our suite was roomy, looked newly updated, and faced the pool. The woman serving breakfast was a pleasure to see each morning. The hotel is toward the southern end of the island. I personally prefer the other end, but that’s just my preference, and I’d stay here again. I hadn’t been before and wasn’t sure what to expect, so it was a pleasant surprise.
