Ella's Cottages - Key West Historic Inns

It’s an older place, but the upkeep and updates are good. Our room was spotless, and the bed and pillows were so comfortable. The location made it easy to walk to almost everything we did. The staff were really kind. I’d definitely recommend it and come back.

Ella’s is downtown, with fairly easy walks to Key West sights. We had great service when booking, checking in, and checking out, and the room was clean. The hotel welcomes dogs and has its own parking lot. In the morning, the breakfast basket was a nice touch and had good food. The courtyard was a relaxing escape from the busy parts of Key West. Excellent place to stay.

The friendly staff helped us plan dinners and excursions, and the charm of Ella’s makes us want to stay again, even with the extra fees. Be aware that charges for a stay aren’t fully transparent, so they can come across as nickel-and-diming. We paid $30 per day to park our golf cart. Breakfast is delivered to the room for a fee, though it’s nice and one basket can easily last two days. Pool towels are free, and the pool is a nice amenity. The inn has a historic look that’s been updated for an easy stay, and the rooms are clean and nicely appointed. It’s an easy walk to Duval street, and there’s a bus stop near the front if you’d rather not walk. It’s a good option for enjoying Old Town Key West.

The room was clean and spacious, with a small outdoor patio, and the hotel is very pet friendly. There’s a nice pool, though a bit small, plus a hotel happy hour and continental breakfast delivered to each room. Staff were friendly, and it’s well located near Duval Street, restaurants, and shops, all an easy walk. I’d love to stay again sometime.
