Ibis Bay Beach Resort

There's a trolley route into the old town area, though it's quite a hike to walk there. The hotel is near hwy 1 and A1A, with a sandy beach-like area along an intercostal or bay waterfront. The grounds are beautiful, with wildlife, a pool, restaurants, and recreation.

Watching the sharks being fed during the day and seeing the turtles fed was great. There were fewer vegetarian choices at the restaurant. The rooms were okay, with a neat bathroom, and the hammock views over the sand beside the ocean were lovely. Having all this attached to each room was really good. The rooms could use door mats, and the interior lighting could be better. The shower water wasn't very warm.

We stayed at Ibis Bay Beach Resort and found it peaceful, quiet, and well kept. Looking out at the ocean from the front was stunning, and waking up to waves and birds right outside felt relaxing. Good restaurants are right in front of the resort, so we didn't need to go far for a meal. It's a lovely spot for a calm beach getaway, and I'd absolutely stay again.

The restaurant is pricey, but the food quality is excellent. We also found the staff friendly and helpful, and the pool was really fun. It was great to come back to the resort after a busy day, and the atmosphere was excellent. The place looks lovely and works especially well for families with children. It's close to a road, but that didn't bother us. A little more care with small details and tidiness would help.
