Simonton Court Historic Inn & Cottages

Duval is just one street away, so you’re right in the middle of things but still get a quieter stay. The patio for breakfast and happy hour was charming too. We loved our time at simonton Court, which family members had recommended. From arrival, the service felt personal: the front desk attendant walked us to our room and showed us around the grounds. It’s an intimate bed and breakfast, and I think there were more workers than guests, in a good way. They clearly take pride in the service and the grounds. The front desk also texts to ask how things are going. When I needed the WiFi information at the pool, I texted and got an immediate answer instead of having to go back to our room. Thanks, Jonathan! I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Key West.

I felt at peace here and ended up lingering until checkout instead of leaving at 6am for Fort Lauderdale. The setting was lovely, with a plush walkway full of flowers and leafy greenery. My room was luxurious, and the four pools were private, close by, and well maintained. Breakfast outdoors was awesome. The location is phenomenal, an easy walk to the wonderful bars and restaurants on Duvall Street. Thanks to all the Simonton Court staff for making my trip so nice.

Jonathan took time to point us toward local restaurants, and his suggestions were spot on. It felt like having our own Key West guide. Everyone on staff was welcoming and went out of their way to make us comfortable. We had an amazing stay at Simonton Court and Cottages in Key West. The room and grounds were clean and beautifully kept, with lush landscaping and a lovely pool area that made it easy to relax in the island atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a quiet oasis just steps from everything. Simonton Court and Cottages exceeded our expectations. We’d absolutely stay again and recommend it to anyone looking for a charming, quiet, well-run place in Key West.

A few parts of the property could use updating, and the rooms have an older, classic feel rather than a modern look. Still, I found it comfortable and a good base for exploring Key West. I enjoyed the tropical gardens and several pools, which gave the place a peaceful, private feel. The staff were helpful and friendly, and breakfast and happy hour drinks were a nice touch. The location is excellent in Old Town, a short walk from Duval Street while still quiet enough to relax.
