We had a great kitchen in our condo, and the pool was awesome, with a shallow section around 2-5 feet and a deep end. There’s room for kids to run around, so it’s a great family spot. The beach is a short walk away, with other nice beaches less than a five-minute drive away. Shopping and restaurants are close too. Great place to stay in Kihei.

It’s well kept, but clearly old. On paper it sounds like a resort, yet the atmosphere felt more like a low-income apartment complex. There was no vibrancy at all.

I live in the same neighborhood, so I know Koa Resort and its charm well. I recently helped a seller with the sale of their two-bedroom condo there. The grounds are meticulously maintained, and compared with other condo complexes, Koa offers the best amenities: a pool, hot tub, tennis court, and storage for large water equipment. It’s also across the street from the beach.

Everything around the pool and hot tub was incredibly clean. The only problem we had was the internet going down during NYE.

Our room was roomy and comfortable, and we had a nice time at Koa Resort. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and shuffleboard. The windows in our room wouldn't shut properly, so we heard more outside noise than we liked. Mostly it was feral chickens, but a few noisy guests added to it.
