The staff were welcoming and polite, and housekeeping cleaned our room every day. It was consistently well maintained, which made the stay easier. Our room was comfortable enough, though nothing fancy. The best part by far was booking oceanfront: I could watch the sunrise over the water and see the beach right from the room. Waking up to that peaceful view each day felt refreshing. It made the trip relaxing, and I’d consider coming back, especially for another oceanfront room.

The renovation turned out even better than I expected, and the building is in a great location with nice craftsmanship. The hot water was always hot, which is a big plus. There’s a separate breakfast room, a washer and dryer area, a game area, an outdoor pool, and a kid-friendly play area. The staff were awesome, and I even met a couple of fellow WV folks. I highly recommend it. 🕊️💟

I came alone for work in winter and the place suited me perfectly. I got a third-floor room with a side view for a steal on booking.com. Loved the colors and balcony, and pre-check-in on my phone was easy. The extra counter space, sink, and desk were all useful for working on my laptop. There are good places to eat close by, including Kill Devil Grill and Shaka, plus grocery stores. I also appreciated not having to walk far to my room and having an elevator, since plenty of beach places only have stairs. It looks newly refreshed. I recommend it.

The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet, and the balcony gave me the ocean view I was hoping for when I picked this place. It was spectacular. The only thing missing was sunshine. This is a true gem, and I’ll be back.

The room had a fantastic view and felt more like a cottage than a hotel or inn. The whole place looked and smelled clean, but the employees were what really stood out. Kay at the front desk was incredibly professional, thorough, and a great representative of the company. She made everything easy from start to finish. If you’re thinking of staying here, do it!
