Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Columbia Killian Road

I was feeling pretty low when we arrived during an ice storm. My mom was unwell, and I'd just had to leave home because the heat was broken. The staff made us feel at ease in a way no other place I've stayed has, especially since traveling is hard for me. They kept checking in, including the GM texting to see how things were going. They brought my mom lots of water and ginger ale, and even brought extra blankets straight from the dryer when she was cold. Everyone we met was kind, friendly, and compassionate. It was a really impressive stay, and I'd recommend the place to anyone. Thank you all for taking such good care of us.

We’ve stayed here several times during our snowbird trips. The rooms have always been clean, quiet, and comfortable, and it’s pet friendly. Restaurants are an easy walk away, with a large Kroger and more places to eat within half a mile. It’s also right off I-77, which makes the location convenient.

Breakfast was hot each morning, and the staff were wonderful throughout our three-night stay. We were coming and going at all hours, but someone always acknowledged us. Everyone was easy to approach, and the rooms were very clean. Thanks to all the Hampton Inn employees, you were great.

Katrina at the front desk was such a help after I realized, three hours into our drive, that I might have left my iPad in our room. We’d stayed overnight at the Hampton Inn Columbia, SC, Killian Road on Sunday, December 28, on the way home from Florida to Ohio. She went up to check before the cleaning staff had been in and called to say she’d found it. She also reassured me that it blended right in with the desk where I’d left it. We were already too far away to come back, so I asked about having it shipped. Katrina checked with her manager, then called back to confirm she’d take it to a UPS location that day. After getting my card details, she offered to email the tracking number. What a relief. She really went above and beyond, and I hope she hears how much I appreciated it. I’ll be sharing the story as proof there are still good people around. The iPad arrived yesterday, packed securely, and shipping cost less than lunch out. Happy holidays to everyone at the Hampton Inn Columbia Killian Road! The breakfast staff that morning, Dec. 29, were also friendly and helpful, though I didn’t get their names. That made a real difference while traveling and was a lovely way to start the day. Thanks to them all!
