The big living room, fireplace, and bar gave our family plenty of space to hang out, and the kitchen was roomy with lots of seating. We rented Highline Lodge for a family gathering and had a terrific time. The rooms were clean, each with its own bathroom, and the host provided all the basic supplies. We couldn’t have asked for more, and I highly recommend the lodge.

After skiing, we came back to a cozy fire, good food and drinks, and a chance to meet the other guests. The lodge has a really relaxed, communal feel, and it was such a welcoming, cozy place for a stay with my girlfriends. It’s close to the mountain, local bars, and restaurants, which made the location perfect. I’d definitely recommend it for a ski trip.

The restaurant dinner was the best food I’ve had in Killington, and we had a big meal there during our stay. I visited Highline Lodge for a birthday weekend with about 15 friends, and we had an amazing time. There’s a huge outdoor jacuzzi/pool, a game room, and a giant Great Room with a fireplace and live music. The staff did everything they could to make sure we had a great weekend. I’m definitely planning to return.

The rooms and bathrooms were recently renovated, clean, modern, and comfortable. The old hotel has some traces of its former life as a barn, but the owners have given it a fresh Vermont B&B feel. Chuck, one of the owners, is a hobby architect and really knows what he’s doing. The main “lobby” feels like a living room, with a great fireplace and a bar right there. We went over on Christmas Eve to have drinks and share in the festivities with the owners. It felt like staying with an awesome aunt and uncle who have a place on the mountain and let you bring friends every season. P.S. There’s a 20-person outdoor hot tub.

I’d love to come back, and hope the dinner service is better next time. We booked their first NYE dinner easily, and the lobster bisque was incredible, but the meal dragged. Entrees arrived almost an hour apart for different people in my group. The lodge is really cute, with the feel of a ski house and lots of rooms. The hot tub is amazingly huge, there was live music for apres, and the location was convenient. Staff were very friendly. The rooms are tiny, and there’s almost no noise isolation anywhere in the lodge.
