The Alloy King of Prussia - a DoubleTree by Hilton

We had no issues at all, including with the hot water, and every staff member was amazing. There were two adults and two dogs in our party, and we'd happily stay here again. The restaurant was a lovely surprise. We both ordered steak, cooked exactly as requested, with fresh vegetables and Yukon gold potatoes. We sent our compliments to the chef. Our room was clean, a good size, and nice, with plenty of parking available. The spots near the entrance cost extra, but there are several large free lots too. The location was great for KOP mall and Valley Forge Park. Thanks for a wonderful visit, and we'd highly recommend the hotel.

Wonderful stay, with great service, a clean place, and polite staff. Those huge fake smiles were a little creepy, though. I wish hotels would tell their workers it's fine to smile lightly or sometimes just have a straight face, as long as they're not standing or walking around with a frown, lol. We all know those giant smiles aren't real. Anyway, aside from the creepy smiles, it was absolutely wonderful.

The hot water was unreliable. The shower wouldn't stay hot and kept switching between cold and lukewarm. The room was incredibly dusty, with a thick layer on the phone and night table, and even the pillows had dust on them. I could actually see dust settling onto my phone through the night.

Darryl and his manager James were so considerate when I needed help airing out my room. I have a fragrance sensitivity, and cleaning products can affect my breathing and trigger an asthma flare-up. I don't tell hotels in advance because they need cleaning supplies and there aren't fragrance-free cleaners. Usually the room has aired out by the time I arrive, but this one at The Alloy King of Prussia - a DoubleTree by Hilton had just been cleaned, and they'd done a fantastic job. I asked for help turning on the air conditioner fan to circulate the air. Darryl kindly came to help and brought a door wedge so I could leave the door open for a few minutes. He also let his manager James know about my sensitivity. James came by with Darryl and asked if there was anything they could do. I said I'd be fine once the room aired out, which it already was. Darryl offered to get us something and brought two sodas. That was very kind. My daughter and I stayed for a weekend getaway from Oct 17 - 19, 2025, and the staff's kindness really impressed me. The front desk team were pleasant and friendly too. The location is convenient for so many things, and our shuttle driver, Frank, was personable and kind. I felt very safe with him driving. Everything was clean, the elevators worked perfectly, and the bar near the lounge was lovely. We had no issues at all. I'll definitely stay again. A++++ to the Alloy King of Prussia!
