The nights were peaceful and quiet, and the service was friendly. They were willing to work with me on a late checkout, too. I booked one week, liked it enough to add another weekend, and really appreciated everything Frances did for me, my wife, and my daughter. I’d definitely recommend staying at Days Inn.

We needed somewhere affordable and dog-friendly for a month while waiting for our house to be ready, and this worked out well. The rooms are dated, but they suited our needs. The grounds were kept clean, there wasn’t much traffic from outside guests, and maintenance requests were handled quickly. The staff were wonderful and hospitable. We’ll recommend this hotel to friends and family coming for a short or long stay. Thanks for everything!

I booked two rooms at Days Inn, 3381 E Andy Devine Ave, Kingman, AZ 86401, and left less than an hour after checking in because the conditions were unacceptable. Both rooms were dirty and smelled bad. The furniture was worn, and several basic amenities were missing or didn’t work. There was no running water, someone else’s clothes were in the restroom, and the carpet was so filthy I couldn’t take my shoes off. The bathroom had no trash can. The sheets were stained and unclean, the mattress was very old, worn, and sagging, and the old lamps didn’t work. This was far below an acceptable standard and nothing like what I expected from a Days Inn. It was a very poor stay, and I wouldn’t recommend this location.

After agreeing to move rooms, I found the new one hadn’t been cleaned properly. I called the desk, and they said housekeeping would come. When the maid arrived, she only cleaned the particular spots I pointed out. By then I didn’t feel safe or comfortable staying even one night. I handed back the key card, said they could still charge me if needed, and left. Only then did the woman at the desk apologize and say she’d speak with the manager. The trouble started at check-in, when we were given a key to a room that was already occupied. We opened the door and saw someone lying on the bed. It was shocking and uncomfortable, and I felt awful for that guest. It made me wonder what might have happened if the situation had been more embarrassing or unsafe. The male desk worker apologized several times and said the system showed the room as available. The female staff member beside him said loudly, within my hearing, “It’s a system issue, why are you apologizing?” That felt very unprofessional. I no longer wanted to stay and asked for a refund. She rudely told me refunds were only possible if there was damage in the room, and that this wasn’t a valid reason. I’ve stayed at many Days Inn locations, and this was by far my worst experience.
